I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults on a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, OCD, and LGBTQ+ issues.
About Jennifer
First, give yourself some credit, reaching out to a therapist isn’t easy and choosing to prioritize yourself takes real courage. It’s completely normal to feel a little vulnerable or unsure about what comes next. My main focus is to give you a comfortable, judgment free space where you can speak freely, feel supported, and navigate whatever comes up at your own pace.

How can I Help?
Therapy shouldn’t feel like a cookie-cutter experience. Everyone comes in with a different story so I like to tailor our work to fit what you actually need. I work with kids, teens, and adults navigating things like anxiety, depression, self-esteem, OCD, and LGBTQIA+ experiences. I also love supporting neurodivergent folks, including autistic individuals, with social skills, emotional regulation, and everyday burnout.
My toolkit includes evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, ERP, and ACT, but we’ll always use whatever combination works best for you.
Ever feel like you logically understand a problem, but your body or emotions still react like it’s a huge emergency? That’s super common. When logic isn’t enough, we can bring in EMDR to help your nervous system process those stuck feelings, taking the intensity down so things feel much lighter and easier to handle.
My Specialties
Working with kids is a huge passion of mine. I help them navigate big emotions, build confidence, and learn real coping strategies through play, creativity, and simple, age-appropriate conversations. My goal is to make therapy feel engaging and comfortable, so kids feel truly seen and supported.
I’m also deeply committed to helping people heal their relationship with food and their bodies. Having walked through an eating disorder myself, I know firsthand how exhausting and isolating it can feel. But recovery is completely possible. I bring both personal understanding and professional insight to offer compassionate, judgment-free support that looks at the whole person: mind, body, and nervous system.
For adults, I offer practical support for navigating social dynamics and building meaningful connections, as well as hands-on work with organization, time management, and executive functioning. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by daily life admin, struggling with focus, or wanting to feel more confident in social settings, we’ll create doable systems and strategies that fit your actual life.
I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based therapy that helps people process distressing memories so they don’t feel as overwhelming or upsetting.
A Little about Me
I earned my degree from the University of Houston-Victoria and have spent over five years working in the mental health field. I’m so fortunate to be working alongside an incredible team at the Counseling Center at Cinco Ranch!
I strongly believe therapy shouldn’t feel stiff or overly clinical. My goal is to create a space where you can simply show up as yourself, feel completely comfortable, and work toward real healing and growth. I can’t wait to meet you!
Outside of the office, you’ll probably find me at the movie theater, watching anything related to true crime, or (oddly enough) cleaning—yes, I actually enjoy it! I also love music, pottery, animals, and spending time with my amazing husband and our dog, Disco. If any of these things sound like you, we’ll get along just fine!
Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or awkward—we’ll create a space where you can be you while working toward healing and growth. I can’t wait to meet you!
