Seeking therapy might not always be easy, but it can be life-changing when navigating hardships with the proper support. My goal is to provide that support when most necessary and continue doing so until each client has met their desired daily life goals. I enjoy incorporating a range of therapeutic approaches in my practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, to best fit every individual’s needs.
I am passionate about helping those who have or are currently experiencing life transitions and need help navigating through specific thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to facilitate the changes they wish to implement into their lives. I enjoy working with those who are facing depression, anxiety, ADHD / ADD, adjustment disorders, and grief in their lives. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, families, and adults facing different hardships, whether short or long-term challenges.
I am currently a graduate student at The University of Houston – Clear Lake, working on my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am fluent in Spanish, an active crisis text line volunteer, and a Texas Counseling Association student member. I have previously worked in school settings and completed an internship at an addictions outpatient treatment center. I am genuinely looking forward to helping heal the mental and emotional problems that some may be facing. The mental health field is growing and slowly getting the recognition it deserves. Our minds are our foundation and the root of every aspect of our lives.
