Hey there! However you got here, I am glad we crossed paths and that you decided to take a look into counseling. It is no secret that sometimes we are handed some difficult circumstances, and it is my firm belief that we all need someone – someone to listen, care, and offer a safe space. My aim is to provide a warm and welcoming environment that allows clients to develop a trusting and supportive therapeutic alliance. Counseling is an opportunity to grow, heal, and flourish! Working together, we can develop strategies and coping skills that establish healthy habits to approach the various hurdles that life throws our way.

As a counselor, I strive to create an atmosphere where clients feel they can be their most authentic selves. With that in mind, I typically work from an eclectic approach: primarily utilizing person-centered and solution-focused techniques in developing a plan for treatment with clients. Each and every client brings their own unique strengths to the table and I believe that these attributes can be leveraged in order to create a better quality of life.

I have a passion for working with teens, young adults, and couples moving through transitional and trying times in their lives. Specifically, I have helped clients work through a variety of issues not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Women’s Issues,  Loneliness, Low Self-Esteem, Troubled Childhood, Troublesome Behaviors, Problem Thoughts, Perfectionism, Personal Growth, Life Transitions, Grief & Loss, Exploring Sexuality/Sexual expression, Questions about Gender, Issues with Parents, Communication Issues, Conflict Resolution, Anger Management, Relationship Issues, Death & Dying, Career Transitions, Problems at Work, Problems at School, Interrupted sleep/Insomnia, ADD/ADHD. I am certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1: Bridging the Couple Chasm.

Currently, I am only offering online services as a means to be more flexible and accommodate all of the little things that may pop up along the way. That, and we can connect from the comfort of your own home! When I am not working, I am outside playing with my pup, gardening, traveling, or enjoying quality time with my friends and family. I love any opportunity to get creative and collaborate!

It is an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to share your space. Let’s talk!

I am so very pleased with Ally Hoffman and her work with my child. We looked and spoke to other therapists before coming to Cinco Ranch Counseling. We are working through complex issues but in a positive, enjoyable way. Our sessions usually have homework that helps us move toward our progressing goals. Ally guides my child to look at things differently and challenges my child to define their feelings more in-depth. Ally is kind and fun- this helps my child want to interact and removes anxiety about going to therapy! I appreciate the virtual therapy option because this allows me to still care for my other family members. I have recommended Ally to other mothers, and I will continue to recommend Ally Hoffman and Cinco Ranch Counseling to anyone needing help.

Ally has helped me tremendously. She is very easy to talk to and lets your feelings flow while you are in session with her. She has helped identify any problems I may struggle with and encouraged me throughout my struggles.
