Rachel Fowler, Therapist

Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I attended Texas A&M University in College Station for my undergraduate degree and the University of Houston – Clear Lake for my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I strive to create a safe environment for my clients to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. My preferred counseling orientation is a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach to treatment when working with all age groups. I will prioritize the uniqueness of each client and will collaborate with you to determine the most effective counseling approach.

My focus is on school-aged children struggling with a range of social, emotional, and self-esteem concerns. I have previous experience working in a behavioral hospital as a clinical counselor with high-risk children and adolescents specializing in crisis stabilization, management, and prevention. With children, my approach is a collaboration with the child’s parents so that they, too, can learn how to support their child’s progress in therapy and how to respond to issues and concerns. I enjoy working with young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and other life stressors.

I look forward to meeting you!
