“Owning our story can be challenging, but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it.”
Welcome! I am proud of you for taking the first step and showing interest in counseling and therapy services. I know the first step can be difficult, but I want to assure you that this first step is your first path to recovery and healing. We have to be brave enough to explore the darkness to discover the light at the end of the tunnel. Together, we can explore a different approach to your concerns and discuss ways to help you see a brighter tomorrow.
I have 6+ years working in a mental health/behavioral health setting. Currently, I am an internship student pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an LPC from the University of Houston-Victoria/Katy. I previously worked as a crisis counselor and case manager at a behavioral health clinic.
I am studying different theories and techniques in the counseling field and am most interested in taking the cognitive-behavioral approach with clients. I also enjoy being person-centered and solution-focused, depending on individual situations and circumstances.
I am open to working with individuals from all backgrounds to utilize my experiences and current knowledge and help as many people as possible. I am also supervised by an experienced team of licensed professional counselors to help me throughout my counseling career.
I am fluent in Urdu/Hindi and can provide therapy services in Urdu/Hindi if needed.
