Hello!

Hi, I'm Caroline! First, I am glad you are here! I graduated from Texas A&M University, in 2017,  with my undergraduate in Early Childhood Education. My valuable background as a former teacher has shaped my approach to mental health care, allowing me to bring a deep sense of empathy, patience, and understanding to my practice.

Having spent six wonderful years as an educator, I developed an appreciation for the complexities of human development, unique family dynamics, and the challenges that come with various life stages. This experience encouraged my path forward to gaining my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health, from Lamar University. My focus is on helping adults, adolescents, and children manage anxiety, depression, and the complexities of life transitions, including parenting and childhood trauma.

Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is an integrated system. I believe you cannot separate your mental, physical, spiritual, or emotional health. When one is lacking, you may find it disrupting other parts of your life. Our time together will be spent investing in yourself and collaborating to create a plan unique to your life, for growth and healing.

I've dedicated my career to creating a nurturing and empowering space for all clients. I use a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, to address the unique needs of each person I work with.

Counseling also acts as a major self-care tool. You may not be experiencing an existential crisis but rather wish to increase internal awareness and reach a healthier lifestyle. My goal is to help you create a foundation of living that delivers peace and overall well-being.

Whether you're navigating the ups and downs of parenting, coping with the emotional impact of past trauma, or facing new challenges in your life, I'm here to offer support and guidance. My goal is to help you build resilience, find clarity, and embrace the path toward healing and growth.

A little bit about me!

Just like any good Aggie, you can catch my family at Kyle Field in the Fall and Olsen Field in the Spring. When I am out of the office, I am outside exploring with my kids or at a coffee shop with a friend. Music is very important to me, whether it be a concert or parked in my driveway replaying my favorite song. I am a huge animal lover with two hilarious dogs, Heidi and Dixie.

Let's jump right in by scheduling a one-hour appointment or a free 15-minute consultation at a time that works for you!
