Supervised by Melissa Barton, MA, LPC-S
I have experience working with adults in both individual and group settings, focusing on depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, family/relationship conflicts, and difficult life transitions. In addition to my counseling license I have additional/specialized training in the area of trauma and PTSD which is displayed by the CCTP (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional) credentials.
I counsel clients through psychoeducation integrated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma informed approaches.
If depression, anxiety, family/relationship conflicts, and/or difficult life transitions are interfering in your life, I would be honored to help you on your journey to peace and satisfaction.
If you feel that past traumas are sneaking into your life and you are no longer able to hold the memories back, therapy can help! For some people, just the idea of discussing past traumas can be upsetting. There is good news! Not everyone who has a trauma needs to process the traumatic events. Many times, the other aspects of treatment assist the client in making significant progress without ever needing to “dig up the past”.
It is truly an honor and privilege to join you as you find healing.
